    Diana Model 22 23 45

    Hi
would anyone be able to give me some advice please

i have spring and piston kits for the above, and wondered is there a particular make of grease should use light or heavy grease? and im guessing not to use to much? and is there any other advice when rebuilding these rifles?

    Thanks

    Hi Elliott,

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the workings of those guns, but you can get good diagrams for them from Chambers: http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdispl...ana%2FOriginal

I use a pot of Bisley gun grease for springs, but I think I've used a product called Abbey LT2(?) before as well. don't go mad with it though

There is a great thread on tuning spring guns here:

The tuning thread that Dave has recommended is superb, I am just finishing
a Webley Mk 3 having used it. I would like to point out that Dri slide seems to
be unobtainable but I did manage to get a large aerosol of an equivalent product on fleabay, also that T cut works just as well as Solvol for final polishing. Cheers.
