    The mounts if Apel, well

I had seen the photos and noticed the red band round the front of your scope which my 2-6 Tasco doesn't have so wondered what model it was.

Mmm.. I'll have a look when I get home :-) Ahhh... I remember ! It's a band of electricians tape ! My Dad lost the scope covers so used a plastic film cannister to cover the optics. I think he put the tape around so it would fit ! Will it add to the value ;-) ?

If it is a model 611VFM (2-6x20 Wide Angle adjustable p/x) these were advertised in the Sept. 81 issue of AGW with The Airgun Centre at £56.00.
The Rhino o/p mount ( I have one of these mounts and I call it Neil - and you thought the above 'shocked' bit bad SBD ) in the same advert £21.
To put that into some prospective - The Airgun Centre was selling FWB Sports (Mk2) for £79.50 and the HW80 £72.50 !
I did mention in an earlier post that these scopes were ' rare and expensive'.

Ian. I do appreciate you trying to help You must feel like I sometimes feel when trying to help 'older people' with their computers ( I work in IT )

How would I identify the scope as a 611VFM ?

THIS may help you identify the scope if any of the lettering is missing.

Im a blonde as far as computers are concerned.

Very! This now rare scope and mounts alone cost the equivalent of a FWB Sport in the 1980s. A good 'Sport these days is worth £175-200. Figure it for yourselves.

    Good luck with the sale.
