Hi John,
No problem....thought it would fit the bill.......I would be interested in seeing it again once you have "worked" on it.Keep up the good work...Atb,Chris.

Hi Chris
The refinished stock came up very well. I removed all the old finish, stained it American walnut and then just polished it up on the drill press, with just a little wax finish to the wood
Some very nice markings/tiger striping shows up and I have added a bit of bling to this one (against the collectors code) but it looks and shoots well (although a bit pellet fussy)

hold me back !!
Lovely looking rifle there John, and I love the polished alloy bling . On the subject of the polished alloy bling, a 2mm thick polished alloy spacer between the recoil pad and stock would set it off a treat imo, and make it look even sexier (only a thought -- maybe I should get out more ). Ha ha. Atb m8: G.

hi Gareth
I must agree, but unfortunately I have glued on the butt plate for life
I do wonder though, why BSA never fitted the white spacers between wood and rubber on the Airsporter that HW, FWB and Original rifles were often fitted with.
I think the polished alloy is just a phase I am going through, out will come the black enamel in a week or so. (keeps me out of trouble)
