sharp ace and innova

Evening to you all, wonder if any of you could clarify apoint for me. Did the Ace and Innova have different size dovetails or were they standard 11.5! Talking an a gunshop today and question came round to whats youre fav Pnematic,mine is Sharp Ace and Sheridan Silver Streak with Williams peep sight. Person i was talking to beleves innova had 9mm dovetails and Ace had 11.5 . any one able to say! atb

Both my Sharp Innovas have 11.5mmm dovetails. One is a Mark 11, made in Japan, the other, also, made in Japan, I understand is the original version.

While the Innova and Ace (and Pan Target) did have the same sized scope rails due to the curvature of the barrel Sportsmatch produced a special 'double undercut' o/p mount for Aces. You could, of course relieve the dove tail on a normal one or two piece mount to fit an Ace.
