Have you forgotten those shot cards you sent me
    I still have the evidance
Then you pull off a 48/50

    Im worried

Thinking of getting me ole mate MikeB to handicap you and make you shoot Paddy's P-23 with Gamo Round BB's

Even if Lynnet used my P23 show would definetly beat me & still give you a pasting

Me & Mike have been discussing the format for this comp So it should be a go looking at the numbers so far.

    Regards
    Paddy.

Tony, what were you saying about Jason psyching you out? You're doing it to yourself already, and it's not even a definite comp yet.

Take a chill pill, pal. She's only a girl.

    Sorry Lynne, just messing.

I'm with you Mike...well at least as far as the self-psyching out goes, I've never shot at a live comp before and Tony's last go was quite successful I believe.

But as for just a girl... humph!

Nah it aint Cookie that was trying it! it was that Mickson Mike guy. I just hollerd for Cookie to "Sort im out for me") as he's da Boss Man.

Just waiting for the sprog in the next garden to disapear so I can go have a go at the 10M target. (Im slightly tiddled so not expecting fantastic results and also why I'm waiting for the sprog to vanish! I Dont want anyone have any cause for concern).

    Yeah Lynne,
I was rather successful, but I was more surprised than anyone to have even placed.
Truely I was admiring the Bronze thinking how proud of myself I would be if only I could manage to win one of those. I never dreamt that I would achieve what I did
I will never forget that day as long as I live.
Even if I dont make the grade this year I still have that day. (grinning like the proverbial Cheshire Moggie, with a warm feeling inside!)

Well, by the time the sprog vanished and I had my pistol case and 5 each of Webley Harriers, Gamo Round BB's and Eley Wasps it was almost dark

But decided there was enough light to "av a go"

Was still tiddled enough to actually use the Gamo rounds in the HW40

So anyhow, bear in mind, VERY LOW LIGHT 10Meters from target to Muzzle. Using standard 10M targets From 5points to Bull and being (slightly) intoxicated. Heres my results:

      • Gamo Rounds - 28/50 (two in bull two outside the 5 ring = 0
      • Webley Harriers - 39/50 (all but one in the black)
      • Eley Wasps - 43/50
I shall do the same tomorrow, without the intoxicant using same pellets and BB's and let you know the results

Oh Yes it is, I Think it's a great idea. So it looks like you are the newest member of the UBC Commitee. Go run your competition fella.

I know Paddy will give you all the help you need to get it up and running.

    Good luck everyone.

    Hi Jason.

Score sheet done, working on the certificates, Mike & I are planning on starting the season in May to co-incide with the beginning of the third season of the 6yd Competition.

As my dad used to say.

    It's all under control

You know, I'm liking how this is all coming together...

There seems to be quite a bit of interest, and I just know I'm going to be hoisted by my own petard - I've never shot a 10m comp before, and I've probably only ever sent ten shots at a 10m target.

But, you know what? I don't care. I want to do this, it seems that enough UBC Members want to do this, there is scope for another comp in the UBC calendar...

...And it just seems like so much FUN!

Definately, I think the comps take ages to come round! Perhaps you can schedule it for a different week to the 6yd target and police target (& snooker??), so we can do one per weekend.

    That's the idea, Lynne!

So, if we had the 10m comps running now, they would start this coming weekend after the PPC and Snooker have finished, y'see? Which would tide us all over very nicely until the main 6yd comp comes around again.

I'm with you - there seems to be weeks of no comps after the Snooker and PPC have finished, and I get withdrawal symptoms.

Paddy doesn't though; he has a life, you know.
