    JSRamsbottom - CP99 sights?

    Hi

I've got a Umarex Walther CP99, and I understand an accessory kit of fully rear adjustable open sights are available, to replace the standard ones it comes with.

Do the guys at JSR have these? Couldn't see them on the website, but as I've got to order about 30 tins of pellets for my club, I thought I'd ask. Don't want to wait for snail mail - so hoping one of the mods or someone can pass on my query please.

Many thanks, apologies for my cheekiness

I agree; stick with standard sights and spend the money on something else.

Edit: Just noticed who the original poster is Lynne. With 48/50, you already fully understand "area aim"!

Yeah I will, I just thought it would make life easier for switching between single and double handed (my sight picture is quite different) and 10M to 6 yds. Still I'm sure it will be easier when I've adjusted the basic sights and I'm not having to shoot an inch to the right of where I want to be!

That will be the fairly heavy trigger on single handed causing that, I imagine Lynne. Concentrate like hell on a slow straight squeeze and you'll probably train yourself out of it. I have succeeded more or less with the Smith, but I never could with the RWS C225 before it! That trigger was just too heavy for me and with a very sudden break.

Hi guys, what custom sights are these? I have my CP99 adjusted far right just to shoot straight!

    Hi Andy
I saw them mentioned in the accessories section of the manual, I'm gonna try ringing JSB or Uttings, as having adjusted my sights over to the right helps but I'm still stuck with no height adjustment. This is not a gun I want for shooting sub-zero with! Currently it still shoots 2" above where I aim. (Yes guys in a vice too, this is not me 'pulling')

    Update

    Just an update.

JSR unaware of these. Uttings said they used to do them, but aren't sure they are still available.....they are going to investigate - if I hear more I'll let you know.
