    May UBC Meet - who's coming?

    I'm just trying to get an idea of numbers so that we can be properly prepared so that the day runs smoothly. Also, Saint Helen (Paddy's long-suffering wife) will be catering for us all on the day so she needs to know how many she'll be feeding.

    It's close enough now for most people to be able to firm-up their plans, so please vote on the poll if you intend to make this legendary international gathering.

    It may also be an idea if you're bringing someone else or the family along to post on this thread so we have an idea of total numbers.

    If you've just got back from Afghanistan, Iraq, or an exploratory mission into deep space, then This is what I'm on about.

    Seriously if you can't make it it will such a shame . Who would get all the golds this time round?

    Yes I'll be there with the wife. I'm going to try to get her to believe she's not totally incapable at shooting, which will be a challenge.

    On holiday on Lanzarote once, the hotel offered "Airgun Shooting" as an activity. About 4 yds range, with some ancient Gamo break barrel & open sights. Cheryl didn't even hit the target (I think she had got the hold totally wrong and wasn't even getting a sight picture but she just couldn't get it). Couldn't spend too much time with her as other people were waiting for a go. Ever since, she's convinced herself that she's completely useless.

    I have not been practising really hard, and look forward to a spirited fight to defend my "Two Spoons" status.
