Any suggestions for single shot competitions for a beginner in the North West. Looking to gain competition experience but would like something a little less formal so that I do not make myself look too much of an idiot. I am not concerned with low scoring but am worried about the etiquette and rules! Many thanks.

Yes I have entered one but it appears that the leagues round me have already started!

dont worry about your scores or "feeling like an idiot" .every one starts some where and there will be plenty of people there to help. just give it a go and have some fun.
join a local target shooting club and ask some members for advise.

I live near middlesbrough and i was wondering if anyone knows of any gun clubs in this northern area or anywhere to shoot, im a keen pistol and rifle shooter. any help?
