Will have to give this one a miss myself although have had it under consideration since first notified, the Mrs is not happy if I spend too much time away from our 6 week old and I have to prioritise my rowing coaching! Many thanks for the updates.

That's a shame Tim, promises to be a really good weekend but obviously there are other priorities that get in the way :-)

Just out of curiosity could you post a link to the results when they are out. I entered my first postal comp but am interested to find out where I stand on a bigger stage (not doing great in the postal comp!) 8th out of 10 with an average of 90.

Just to say a great thanks to all those who attended and helped out behind the scenes - it was nice to seem some familiar faces and some people who were shooting their first comp.

Nice to be shooting indoors given the weather we had over the weekend !

Definately agree with you there Lee - real friendly atmosphere and great to be indoors

Really enjoyed my first competition, even though I must have been using a blunderbuss to shoot with

Looking forward to the next one

How did you get on Phil?

    Chris.
Far too many rifles & pistols to mention here.

You had to ask Chris, you had to ask:-)

He did well for his first comp shoot, and after a few minor alterations should be doing even better now:-)

But I will let Phil tell you all the details

    Oh go on, please tell!

If he shot well we'll never hear the end of it. If he shot poorly we'll never hear about it .

    Chris

I shot poorly by my standards scored 447 out of 600 - but at least it was a PB

Both Trevor and Lee have made some alterations to my grip, front post etc which have helped no end - still got miles to go to catch up with Lee and his 563x600
