Can anybody help please with a valuation?
I have recently acquired a Diana model 55. It is stamped on the stock "11-61" (presumably the date). The serial number is 551220 and it is .22 calibre. The action is very smooth and it shoots sweetly. It sinks a pellet into 3/4inch plywood with ease (I must get a chrono). The stock is in a beautiful condition as you can see from the photos. It has had a small repair on the stock at some time, which you can also see on the photos. The metalwork has no pitting at all (apart from a very small amount below the stock line). Unfortunately, it needs re-blueing and it is missing the shroud off the fore-sight. As far as I can see, this sums it up very well.
Look forward to receiving replies.

I would suggest nearer the £200 mark.
Dennis Hiller [looks to the West and bows low] writes in his book, Collectors Guide to Air Rifles, quote: ' A rare model'.
I paid £150 for my tatty example many years ago.
