    THANKS SWALLOWS
a fantastic course we loved the two styles, an absolutly brilliant days event
well well done to the swallows and all who set it out and arranged it.
i thought the sausages and bacon were tops never saw burgers would have tried them as well
and i was expecting waist high nettles, rain and water, not just in the streamy thingys or lakes
instead we had a perfect day

Depite best intentions, burgering is best left to the professionals.

I cried all the way home.

11 out of 10 for the course is appreciated and about right ; certainly reflects the effort put in by Swallows FTC members (who know who you are guy, galls and lads & las ). Was REALLY pleased that we managed to keep the Wooded element a fab secret from you all.

Don't think there were any burgers, were there. I'd be the last to know as I had no chance of a look in at ANY of today's catering specialities. Doh

Now that i've woken up (don't even remember falling asleep), i'd like to thank Swallows for an excellent day. I'm still amused by my ability to get stung at my first peg when i went prone....... What a perfect start!

Excellent company and an enjoyable woodland addition to the course (especially when a string is pulled and ducks emerge).

    Bring on the next shoot!

Coming from you, Sir Matt, that almost brings a tear to my eye.

It makes all the hard work worthwhile. There was heartache en route, especially when, half way through our prep of the wood - in the area of lanes 1-7 - our friendly farmer decided we needed some help. He sent in his troops with a himax and ripped out several trees and burried the banks in thick mud dredged form the bottom of the ditch . Nearly gave up at that point , but I'm very glad we didn't

Thanks for the thanks, Jon. Appreciated.

If you hadn't picked up on this, the frequent references to our nettle jungle was part of our trickery/deception, to keep those who have only known Swallows FTC (on our current site) firmly in the belief that the open field was all we had (true until a couple of months ago) - while at the same time encouraging peops to bring mats or at least wear sensible clothing due to the rather rough ground and nettles in the wood section.

Very pleased to hear of the excellent results for you and Spencer today.

Great to shoot with you lot again....we have our ups and downs, mainly due to our passion i reckon!!

Great Show Biggles, plus all that set out, cooked, booked in, etc, etc, Very deceptive course...Not going to mention my score....

just popping out to try my new rifle, while i send my Daystate back again!.....Getting a new trigger finger fitted to it!...Great they are, mine is anodised but they come in all colours, Set them to pull the trigger at the right time...Jobs a good'un!

swallows almost certainly put more into their hosting then any other club!!
    Well done..Sleep well.

Dan The Man, cheers for your sponducious company...you are a credit to the human race fella.

well done Buxted for taking the top slot!
Infact well done all the juniors, especially our very own Spencer who practices like shooting is going out of fashion!...great result!

Would like to do a couple of evenings with the juniors, practising 'Off the deck' and 'off the peg' shooting, with maybe a bit of zeroing / friendly comp thrown in!
If any of The juniors parents wants to get in touch...feel free, maybe we can sort something!

    Thankyou everyone!

Simply brilliant !!! I loved the shoot today , well done for all the hard work on the new woodland-safari , perhaps we could do a charity ' fishing-hft ' lol

What you lot have done to that piece of land not only looks great but the target placement and imagination that went into it was superb !
