German language forums do actually report some reliability issues, especially with the pellet feed.

However, there are satisfied owners as well and their reply to the complaints complaints is pretty much "RTFM".

    Here's a link to a fairly recent discussion about the 300R: http://www.co2air.de/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=58915

Forgot to add... The Co2Air forum has a good selection of airguns presented. Click Lexicon, then click Druckluft und CO2 on the left. This opens up an alphabetical list of guns; the Diana 300R is also there, with links to further discussions on Co2Air.de.

Just remember that the German power limit for non-FAC guns is 7.5 Joule (about 6 ft/lbs).

Anyhoo, for those that read German the Co2Air.de web site is a good source of information expecially on German airguns.

    Cheers,

Shame it's .22". I would have been interested if it was .177".

It's been diuscontinued for almost a year i'd say.

Pellet feed problems can occure & can be caused by the owner, who, when cocking the rifle, holds the safety catch at the rear of the action, which, as it auto sets itself, cannot, then something breaks inside.
