    Ruger Old Army trigger adjustment

    Hi,

the trigger on my ROA is reasonably clean & crisp but too heavy for my liking - approaching 5 lbs. Has anyone got any advice on how I could improve this or can anyone recommend a gunsmith (preferably in the South East) who could do this for me?

    regards
    Nigel

I did put a complete spring kit in mine when I got it. Not sure what the pull actually is but it feels light enough. Think I ordered it from Brownells.

This was the kit I used and it costs very little:

A check on the kitchen scales shows the trigger breaks just past the 2lb mark.
