power increase needed in a HW

can any one help me out , got this HW95 stripped it and put a new HW piston seal in , every thing else looks alright , but the power is still low , the spring is an SFS jobbie it looks fine but might be a bit weak .
At the moment the gun is doing 10.6ftlbs , and i would like to get it up to 11.5ftlbs.
i looking for some washers that slip behind the piston ( i think ),i ve been to the local gunshop and he does'nt have any .
And not sure exactly what they look like either.
As anyone got a few lying around 2 or 3 would do it , would be real greatfull .
    THANKS
    Darren .
ps . its for an HW95 in .22 cal , by the way

You could ask Venom or SFS to send you a few.

Would have sent a few I had made in brass but these are for a '80 and may not fit.

BTW, the washers go ahead of the top hat (front spring guide).

P.S.: Since it's a new spring and washer, wait for 500 or 1000 shots before using pre-load washers. These may not be needed.

Hi Rustam -- its had a whole tin of superdomes plus a few more and the power has'nt budged.
i 'm not sure about the position of the washers , i was told that they are to go on the back of the piston ( slide over the piston rod) , is this wrong ???
we've got to get on with thining the rabbits around the horse paddocks , so this airrifle is really needed right now ( shotguns are a no , no because of noise levels ).
Does any one have a few they could spare me , where exactley do i put these washers , i'm confused ..

    Thanks
    Darren ..
can i get the same size washer at a diy place or are we talking about a totally different kind of washer

Personally I'd get SFS to tune it for you, they did my HW95 for £45, it shoots superbly at a consistent 11.7 ft lbs with superdomes (.177 ) I'd reccomend it.

No. I misundertsood. When you said 'behind', I initially thought you meant the rear piston guide.

Definitely try a DIY store but take the piston along.

According to my calipers, the Venom washers are 1.15mm thick, have an OD of 20.57mm and an ID of 10.66mm.

std. 10mm washers fit just fine and come in a few thicknesses. Start with one or two that are approx 1.5mm thick. RB
