Sussex Interclub HFT 2009 - Round 2 Results

REVISED RESULTS FILE NOW AVAILABLE HERE

    Hi to all SIHFTers

Taken a tad longer than usual to get this results thread going - some odd happening with the post screen means this is the third time I'm typing this, and I'm begining to loose the plot.

It appears that I can no longer post the results in the way I used to, with a character count limit failing to keep up with the number of entries we're now seeing at our local friendly competition.

This new section also disables the ability to include any attachment. So .... trying this for the first time tonight HERE is a link to a filestore system to which I've uploaded the pdf file version of the results tables.

DOES IT WORK ?? Cannot be sure myself, but probably because I am the person who uploaded it in the first place

I seem to recall announcing this morning that today's shoot broke the previous SIHFT record (70 entrants), having risen to 76. Checking the stats, I now see that it was actually 80. Amazing !! And such a wide mix of people - from the most experienced in Sussex (and Meon Valley) to the most inexperienced beginner.

THIS is what SIHFT hoped to achieve.

    Thanks for that.

Is it 'simple'? Could, in your opinion, say someone with the IT skills of the loveable Spongebob, complete this without a diagramme to assist him?

    Hi Sam

    Fret not, young Sam.

We all start out like this and you'll be shooting up the table before you know it.

When you've finished making holes in the table, we'll let you shoot at some real targets

    John Herbert F R 52 88% Bronze
    Phil King B O 52 88%
    Josh Long S J 52 88%
    Lee Poat H O 52 88%
    John Turnbull B R 52 88%

Am I missing something in the scoreing? but shouldn't all the 52 scores 88% get a bronze and not just the top one.?

Lovely day by the way well done Swallows

You should have got a bronze John, as a boingerman, level with Jonny Herbert, the rest were in Open and wouldnt count

Definately a job for Mr Biggles as I don't have th source spreadsheet I am afraid... well spotted though Matt it does indeed still say "Round 1 - The Oaks" in the pdf.

Quite right John. With equal third highest score in the .22 and recoiling class, you should have been awarded a bronze badge. Come and see me at Ford - Round 3 (not forgetting you £2 )

There will be a bunch of others collecting theirs at the same time.

Scores sheet will be amended shortly.

While I have a new whizzy way of picking up team place allocation in the spreadsheet - saving a lot of time - the new classes scheme was something of a mare on Sunday as far as badge rating went. Hope to get better at this too before Round 3.
