Well done to Derek on the clearance but I trust you'll be lashing a foot to a peg in the future. We don't want a possible clearance spoilt by a technical faux pas. Excellent sportsmanship on the part of Dave White, I believe (I hope I'm right as I'm absolutely hopeless with names), for it being spotted and pointed out before the shot was taken without touching the peg.
Excellent day all round with good company, can't ask for much more..... or can I?
Ahh, pain killers are working now and the dodgy kidney is shutting up at last. Feel a bit smashed out of my skull though.

Thanks to all at Ford for yet another well run comp. I do like the wooded part, shame it can't be used more often, Special congratulations to Derek for his clearance, especially as he finished on the 'wobbly tree' nerves of steel.

It was interesting watching him get set up in the branches to take the shot. None of that: 'I've spent too much time trying to get steady/comfortable, I'll just take the shot anyway'. It was a difficult shot to take and all the more so when it was for the clearance. Puts the flippant/sarcastic comment "No pressure then" in perspective really.
