What are you prepared to lend non shooting mates?

Thought I'd just pose this question as I hunt around the house for guns that I'd be happy to lend to a few mates.

A friend of mine has 15 acres that needs ridding of bunnies. He suggested we get some mates together. Then suggested because I have quite a few guns I could lend the lads without guns one or two.

Blimey! I didn't think I was so precious until I started selecting what I'd lend.

The HW97k - sure. A TX200 why not. Webley Tracker - Okay. BSA Mercury -mmm - if they're careful. Silver streak - not sure. PARK RH91 - I wouldn't forgive myself. The Omega .177 - NO Gareth would never forgive me.

I can't believe I'm now piecing together a couple of Meteors!

(And before anyone says - they can all shoot just don't want their own guns)

If they really are non-shooting mates, not a bloody thing.

to be honest, if they are "non shooting mates" i would be more concerned how accurate they can shoot, judge distances etc , before i let them near any live quarry, if i were lending the guns for that purpose they would need to prove their ability

Nip out and buy a few of the cheapest chinese rifles you can find and dish them out generously to all concerned.

If, as you say, they can shoot but don't have their own guns, how much experience do they have on live quarry ?

The question was only mean't to be a bit of fun.

But since you ask it's just two mates without 'Air rifles' of their own. But both shoot quarry with their shotguns. One of them also hunts with his winchester 22 rifle and the other has a Poorly Webley Tracker. So experience yes, just not their own airguns.

We'd thought we'd go for an airgun only evening.
