    Hello,

With the greatest respect, and NO I don’t want banning from this site, BUT have you read your thread?

Give the knowledgeable ones on here a chance !!
A Photo or three, calibre, makers name, etc etc ect .
    Box / case with a name ?
Something to go on at the very least.

    Sorry to offend,

    Sam.

    With the greatest respect

I have put that if you pm me I will send photos by email as I can't seem to upload them on here.

It has been suggested that the cane is a 410 but with the breach measuring 1 and 3/4 in in length and the width is 10mm i doubt whether it is a 410.

    any ideas would be appreciated.

You have a real potential for legal issues with a Cain gun of any kind, best to get specialist legal advice.

    I'd try BASC myself.

No disrespect to FEO's, but a cane gun isn't mainstream. He might never have come accross one before. BASC have specialists in firearm legislation.

This air cane legality question has raised been on here a few times. I thought the law on these (section 58) was the same as antique blackpowder and obsolete calibre guns, fine to own as a display item, FAC required to use.

This is a really old one, I would imagine 100 to 200 years old but don;t quote me on it.

    cane gun

If its 200 yrs old then it wont be a cartridge gun.
    Sounds like 9mm possibly.
If you contact the Police they will confiscate it (because they have to until they establish what it is) and possibly prosecute you.
Go to a proper shotgun dealer. For heavens sake dont sell it untill you get some advice.
