PicsNeil - as per PM sent, JPEG's of a Dianna pistol in .177 calibre. The only mark is MLR near the trigger. It is pressed but heavyso there is obviously a solid frame underneath.
The ring is pulled out to cock and goes back up when discharged. I dont think it will need to be chrono'd :-)
The owner wants to know about it, what it should be insured for if of any value and what it would sell for if he decideed not to keep it.

It says MGR, not MLR. First Mayer and Grammelspacher (Diana) pistol 1892-1914. Looks to be in very nice condition. Beeman says US$1000 for a 95% condition one, $800 for 90%, $600 for 80% and $450 for 60%, and add an extra 20% for nickel plate. This is a later version, the earlier one had a separate cocking tool.
