    Exclamation 17th May 'The Oaks' Scores...

    ...Them two faces speak volumes!..

    A VERY testing course in VERY windy conditions.
    Targets were intentionally put out to capitalise on a very windy and wet hill!
    Everybody had a grin in the woods...but it was GRIM on the hill...Smashing!

    55- Spencer Fairman..(He should get 4 points for being a junior of 13yrs but i hate juniors)...lol

    55- jon fairman...(Great shooting....leave spencer at home next time!)

    55- mike Byford....(That goodlooking Geezer)

    52- Chris Gent...Good stuff!

    50- Siobhan Hobden..Show the boys how to shoot girl!!

    48- Rob Lusted....(Known locally as Shadow)

    48- Bob Appleyard...Whose he??

    48- Charles Peal..(Nice to beat you for a change)

    47- Charles Cox ed....

    44- Dave (I'm not laying in that crap) Sneddon...

    43- Graham Dargonne...Well done, always nice to see you.

    39- Sam Smith...Great first shoot at our place!

    29- Colin Shervill..Standing, springer, more water inside his scope than out...need i say more?

    well mike it was still fun and when we thought your rifle bag had caught fire and it was just steam coming off it when the sun started to dry it out
    do not steal the government hate's competition!!!

    I took a few pics but the quality of them are appalling , its what happens when your using 4 yr old camera and have an unsteady hand ...oh well

    no pics of the heavy downpour, sry , the cam would have died if i had...

    Quite a spectacular day...from wringing wet to sunny and....well still wet...and smoking!

    It still amazes me how the wind affects the pellets, up the hill they were obviously blowing them right....but as bob pointed out it was lifting them a fair bit!..

    funnily enough i took my camera along but it was too bleedin wet to get it out!
    I intended to take some pics of the shooting action....Maybe next time!
    Great to see some pics though Sam.

    Edit; Just learn't how to disassemble a Walther!..

    shame about the
    brown, gun,clothes,hands,pellets,mag,scope,
    spencers jamed gun
    all dry now and firing again
    loved the sense of the unknown.
    that wasn't wind it was horizontal gravity
    and didn't those pellets go up in the feild (antigravity)
    always nice to see everyone
    glad i got terry to come out on the feild

    well reading this again see young Spencer Fairman 55 useing his dads rifle wonder what he would have got if he had not had problems with his own well done spencer
