How many Steyr LG1 SSP 10m rifles were made.

Looked all over the net for info about this rifle but find next to nothing, most of the hits are from my posts about the rifle.

Does anyone know how many might have been made in total? I know the manual is dated 1995. How long were they in production? Anyone else have one they like?

Love mine for shooting silhouette outdoors. 45 yards is a long way for a 10m rifle whizzing 8.4gr pellets under 600 fps especially when its a bit windy.

    Steyr

    Hi Bo
i used to go to a lot of 10 metre rifle comps in the 80's and 90's but Steyr SSP's were rarely seen. I have literally seen many hundreds of Walther LGR's and FWB 300's, 600's etc and quite a few Anschutz 380's and 2000 series but perhaps only a dozen or so SSP Steyr's

I think i have seen a variation used in 10 metre running boar/moving target discipline back in the 90's with a longer barrel. I think Steyr also had a CO2 10m rifle around at that time or perhaps a bit earlier
It also was rare to see, as was Walther's CO2 powered 10m air rifle

Harry Preston of Jubilee air rifle club York may be able to help
He is the Steyr distributer/UK trained gunsmith

    hold me back !!
