    Here's a gun I refinished

    I bought a Spiller & Burr revolver kit and decided to make it as attractive as possible. I spend 6 weeks grinding the metal down, sanding it, and polishing it. I polished everywhere I could get into. The grips also were given lot of attention.

    Nice work tomahawk, i can see you have put a lot of effort into it.
    Its tricky keeping those edges straight on the barrel aint it.

    I bought a Spiller & Burr (pietta) when I had a black powder fad some 12 years ago. Couldn't hit a barn door with it but it was great fun. Had a Tryon .45 rifle as well, that was a different story altogether and I still regret selling it on
