Well I'm sorry folks but I will have to sit this round out

    My epoxy repair worked just fine but when I came to shoot my snooker target a new problem arose;

In the few weeks that my pistol has been out of action I have used up the last of the CO2 capsules, from the box I had been using, in my rifle. So today I loaded up one from a new box (different brand as our sponsor could not supply) and nothing! followed by some hissing and pluttering of leaking gas.
This time the piercing tip had cut a perfect disc out of the end of the capsule which then blocked the valve.
I cleared it and tried again, three times in total, and each time the same thing .

Now I will have to get an alternative brand of CO2 before I can try again.

So, good luck to everyone else. I will have some catching up to do

    Cheers, Mark

    Hi Mark

I'm really sorry mate. Hope you can get it sorted soon enough.

Haven't you got another pistol? If you was closer I would of offered to borrow mine when you first had the problem.

    Regards
    Paddy.

Thanks Paddy, if you were closer I would have asked already

The only other pistol I have, currently, is a 1957 Webley Junior. By the time I realised that the Anics was not happening it was getting too dark to shoot outdoors and my two tinies were in bed, so no chance of any indoor shooting.

A damn tough target indeed! But all the more challenging for that. Congratulations to the winners, and three cheers to Paddy for running it.

    Well done lads and lassies.

Its a real tough target. I was cut short by visitors yesterday I think I could have got a better score given another hour.

    > THIS < was my last target, open sights. Missed just a few times.

You can just make out my range at the bottom of the garden too.

    Cheers

I can't work out why this on is so hard, it seems so easy, especially with optical help. But easy it isn't

And that's a good enough excuse for my score, I guess.

    Hi Jim & Jan

I've recieved your email. Just not opened it 'yet' I want to do mine first before I see any other scores.

I don't want any 'mental' distractions ( awaiting now for sarky comments )

    Regards
    Paddy.
