Today, sunday 31/05/09, we from the new BAGS ( Bolton Air Guns Society ) hosted our first ever round of the Gauntlet Series of competitions. This was only made possible with the great help of the Rivington Riflemen. They let us use their outdoor range for our leg of the series. Our own range is too small to host any full competitions.
They helped set up the excellnt course and gave us full use of their facilities. For the majority of BAGS members who attended t was their first tatse of competition shooting and they all thoroughly loved the experience, learning a lot along the way.
I would like to take this chance to thank the Rivy Lads for all their help and for the input to all our new shooters from the lads from Fort and Tawd who also attended the competition. It is their openess and good nature that makes shooting a pleasure. We are glad and proud to be a member of the Air Gun Club family

Great day and a great course. Excellent company and on the whole played in the true spirit of the Gauntlet. Apart from Geoff turning up .....

It's alright for you lot. I was partnered with Geoff. Have you tried taking a shot with somebody throwing a kneeling cushion at you. Or lying alongside you whispering jokes in your ear.
