Uk Springer R2 / Shepreth Open Results

I don't think we could have had it any better today, we had the sun, we had some wind (just a little bit ) and the course was a real pleasure to shoot. Big thanks to Colin, Matt and Chris for the help in getting the course set for todays event. Also to Sarah And Sue for the great food all day.

    A great fun day

I'd just like to add my thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put on a great day - it was a really good course, good company and great fun for my first trip to Shepreth and in the infamous words "I'll be back"

Thanks to all at Shepreth for hosting the 2nd round. Great day out and good company from the Houghtons and Mark.

Don't worry, you ####### wind up merchants Mark and Andy Y, the ever-sporting Anne has contacted me and we are going to swap trophies at Kibby.

The competition in the .22 class is hotting up and my motto from now, Mr Sherlock, is "don't get mad, get even".

Thanks to all that attended yesterday, I thought it was a superb course and the scores reflected the time put in by Shepreth in setting it out. So far I can only see 1 of my mistakes (Anne and Roger, I`ll get it sorted). Great to see the enthusiasm shown by Levi for the Springers and I hope you stick with it mate. As for my shooting partners on the day , well what can I say.......w**+ers. Naaa ,really I loved shooting with Ralph ,Alan and Jeff , they make me feel better than I am
Looking forward to Round 3 now at Kibworth.

Great day (no rain for a change), the springer appreciated it.
Can't say more than the posters above, its always a pleasure to visit Shepreth not only to shoot but to have a decent chat with sensible people(well most of the time). However my aim this year will besides shooting will be to get some lemon merangie pie, something I've not managed in 6 visits, but I did manage to see some once before it disappeared.
Nice to see some new faces picking up the hardware, next time you might have to try really hard, you'll have a lot of the old guard breathing down your neck..
I'm beginning to suss out the course these days, but would I sell my soul to the Devil at midnight on the 'cross roads' to acquire that ability, hmmmmmm, don't think so.,Nice one Mark you sneeky ########.
