    BSA prewar "breakaction"......No Barrel!!!!!

I am asking this question on behalf of a guy who I recently spoke to on the phone about old airguns in general.......He told me he has a BSA breakaction, which is complete except for the barrel/cocking link. We both wondered if a cadet major one was anywhere close, or if anyone one here may have the correct one, or any ideas ........long shot I know.....but it may be out there somewhere! (the barrel)

My theory in why it was missing was that maybe some little tyke shot at a cat/dog/songbird many years ago, and dad dismantled the gun as a punishment!.....I cant see any other reason why the whole assembly would be missing.....even if it had been fired when cocked and bent the barrel, they are normally still attached!

I saw a ropey one in Terry Robbs a few weeks ago, only fit for spares, think he wanted 30 quid for it, barrel & link was there.
