    Sterling HR81 valuation please chaps

I am trying to evaluate this for a work colleague. Sterling HR81, #2979. .22 CALIBRE, beech stock. It has a 4x32 weaver scope on it too.

    HR81 LEFT

    HR81 RIGHT

    HR81 CLOSE

    HR81 CLOSE AGAIN.

    Thanks chaps.

ps, he's looking to swap this air rifle for a more modern airgun (Springer).

Nice condition, but missing the rear sight assembly. I'd say £140-60. There was an intact one here a while ago, with some wear to the bluing on the barrel (nothign serious) for £140.

    Hmmmmm,

I would have to go a bit less due to the missing rearsight innards. Spares are very difficult to get so I would price up at £120-£140.
Retail value for complete ones is nearer £200 but tpical BBS prices for complete ones is nearer £150-£170
