New Air Arms TX springer stock dilemma!

    I already own a TX200HC in .22 with CS500 stock.
    http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/e...ns/TX200HC.jpg

I will be buying another TX next week but in .177.

My dilemma is do I buy the new TX with Walnut Stock and sell my current TX with its CS500.

    OR

Do I buy the new TX with beech stock and then put the beech stock on my .22 TX and put the CS500 on my new .177 TX?

As much as I would like to keep both...I cant

    What would you lot do??

I just cant make up my mind.

    Andrew

I still cant decide whether to get the TX200 Mk3 or another TX200HC.
If the Mk3 can have a cocking aid put on the end of the cocking arm then I will get a Mk3.

Depends on whether you can pick your new stock, 'cos you might find a very nice one.

That one, then sell the .22

The CS 500 is much nicer than the latest walnut scaly thing you get these days.

I used to have the factory beech stock on my .22 TX and it handled beautifully.
The only problem with my CS500 is the "thumb up" position of the stock which I cant really get used to, but my CS500 does have some lovely grain.

It might sound odd but I shoot PCP's with my thumb "up" but I can only shoot springers with thumb "down"

I would buy the new TX with the walnut stock as i think what you pay extra is money well spent. Sell your current TX as a going concern if the stock on it fits well, there is always the chance that if you do swap them over you might not be so lucky. I notice your current TX stock has no checking so a new TX factory stock will be quite a contrast and may take some getting used to. Have to ask the question, why are you going over to the very sensible(in my opinion) .177.

The other side. By the way, it's not mine, I'm not that lucky.

Just a shame it's not as interesting as the left side. Still don't like the scales though.
