    Removable air cylinders?

With regard to the likes of the HW100 and other German guns using removable cylinders, I'd appreciate your advice on what kind of grease, if any, to lightly lubricate the threads with from time to time.

I've got some Molykote, but it's got silicon in it, and I'm told this is bad for metal to metal contact. It seems to be recommended only for O rings.

Would I be better off using molybdenum grease or simple vaseline, or should the threads not be greased at all?

Hi Arthur. As far as i know,We have removable air cylinders on
many FX models and i personally havenīt heard of there being a need to grease the threads but that is only as far as i know.
I have the FX ULTIMATE also known in britain as the SCIMITAR
and it has the removable cylinder and i havenīt had any problems
