I wish that I wasn't working on the day of this as I want to support the relaunch of air gun competition at Broomhills.

I visited them in the mid 1980s but it wasn't untill I got my first pcp about 4 years ago that I started to go again, on and off.
I joined Lea Valley and my current club Shepreth because there was no HFT competition at Broomhills.

I will be involved with these HFT comps at Broomhills when work commitments allow, and any comps will be scheduled to that they don't clash with local clubs and national shoots where possible.
By the way Mark, we will still be Shepreth members and come along as often as usual

One advantage of Broomhills is that its open 7 days a week, so I might start to practise, I don't at the moment and my shooting suffers because of that

    Cheers

The weather looks like it might behave for this event, hopefully it will be windier though.

Course is set, roughly to UK spec, not tooo many long ones or short ones, but a few tricky ones to sort out the top shots

Should be hot so don't forget a hat or some sun cream

See you tomorrow at 1:30 for a 2:30 start, approx

    Cheers

    Thumbs up

Had a great day here today, fantastic location and everyone was made to feel very welcome. The course, set mainly in the woods, was not the hardest i have shot but a for a first time of setting one, John and Vicky certainly did a grand job.
A big well done to all the people at Broomhills, i am sure there will be many return visits.

    Smile

Thanks for the kind words Mark and Tony a few lessons learned and next time will be a little harder with some more variety in the shots
Lots of new shooters introduced to HFT and several went away with prizes ans awards.

Results will be up later today when Vicky has recovered

Thanks to everyone who attended, it made all the hard work worthwhile.

    Cheers
