    The Bluebell Wood.

In the shire, there is a wood,
A leafy dell, where Hobbits shoot,
When all about is wild and wet,
The Buxted wood is better kept,

    A magic place, serene, sublime,
    The hallowed haunt of fifty-nine,
One by one, step up the best,
Yet none so far, have passed the test,

A spell long cast in days of old,
To thwart the brave, the strong, the bold,
Words abound and deeds are few,
The three score waits, a champion true,

    Will it be me?
    Perchance 'tis you.

Hi, Have to say what a great course Buxted put on for us today.
    Plenty of challenges for everyone.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself on my first visit to your part of the world.
Does anyone know what the high score for the day is?

    Cheers.

    David.

    Good shooting Dave.

Just make sure you make it along to Round 6 at Ford ..... if nothing else to collect your gold badge AND PAY FOR IT (thought I'd get this in before Andy does )

I'm just in process of transferring scores from laptop to here. With bit of luck, I'll have the full results posted soon (on their own thread).

    That was a tough course!
Thankyou Buxted for a well thought out course...very hard to rangefind in that wood today!

I guess it depends on how it suits your style of shooting, it sure didn't suit mine!
56 was a bloomin good score today, that's for sure..It is nice to see the scores coming down a bit....tends to level the field a Tad.

Considering on the last shoot, you needed 56 to receive a bronze
53 got a Silver this time.

See you all soon, or at Ford anyway.

Thanks very much, the same to you.
    I assume you were on a 55?
I really thought things would be much, much closer.
I must say I felt I'd shot better than my score says.
I guess that just shows how tricky things were.
Just imagine how much fun it would of been with a stiff breeze.

    See you all at Ford.
