For a moment, I thought you'd discovered some black art in HW45 tuning.

I don't know whether to say it's beautiful or hideous

engineering work of art in it's creation obviously, but gothic stuff not really my cup of tea.

Gothic? Well, I know what you mean - but you could also see it in the tradition of highly ornamented, finely-wrought personal handguns. Rather than, say, being in the stylistic tradition of utilitarian military weapons. That being said, I'm not sure I'd want a fake flintlock prong in my eye when I'm out rabbiting. (Nor, indeed, any other sort of prong...). I love that it's a .45 calibe air handgun, though.

Am I the only one seeing how it looks a bit like the bsa 240 magnum?

That's what I thought. Just look at the standard of any Victorian instrument case.

Gothic? Well it is very Steampunk I would say.

As an object I like it a lot, but it's not the sexiest air pistol ever made. Too ornate on the air cylinder for me, although if that part was just highly polished blue steel I'd like it a lot more. Most likely too heavy and cumbersome to be really usable too.
