Rosie then updated us on how the upgrades were going with the DTSGB membership

" Where does the hot water come out of?
    Hi Everyone
The question above may seem obvious to most people but it was the question most asked this weekend when we proudly showed them the water heater in the kitchen. They could not believe it when we told them it came out of the tap!! and then when we showed them the sink in the ladies loo also had hot water there was a queue to use it. Even more amazing there is NO water coming under the side wall, even after the heavy downpour last weekend. We also had lots of 'that looks good' as people came in through the front door and saw the newly painted lobby. We got everyone together on the Saturday morning and went through all the things you had done at the refurb weekend and the extra money being raised by Steve, I nearly got to the end of the list without blubbing but talking about having hand dryers in the loos started me off. So before I start again this message comes with a big THANK YOU from every member of the DTSGB.

That's a rough precis of the first 43 pages of the thread, hope its not too dull.

I'll update this as time allows, and will get it up to date next week.

If anyone does feel like pitching in, or if anyone has a lottery win they are struggling to know what to do with, please reply on the other thread, and someone will get back to you.

    Thanks for reading this far.

    Richard.
