    Obsolete caliber advice

I have a collection of Co2 pistols, but after seeing a nice belgian 11mm pistol dating from the 1870s at the war and peace show a couple of years ago it got me interested to maybe start a small collection myself, can anyone give me any advice on where to start, or any recommended dealers or classifieds.

Thanks, some nice pistols on there, I'm looking for what ever catches my eye and is affordable rather than anything that is collectible, do they have a shop or just mail order? I don't live too far away from bedford.

hi jim, nice to hear from you too, bedford guns are two collecter friends of mine, who set up a partime .buisness buying and selling mainly obsolete[in our country]calibre guns, mainly pistols but some longarms...because they do not draw a wage from the buisness they run on low profit margins and turn over a large amount of stock.they buy in guns from the states and europe and if you do not see what you want give them a ring with your requirements and see what they can do for you.before anyone asks i am not on commision[but i might get a pint out of it!!].atb ..greasemonkey

And a well-earned pint, to be sure, GM!

I'll gladly buy you a pint if ever our paths cross. You're a font of information about the old guns, and are always willing to share your knowledge.

    Bedford Guns!!

Anywhere that sells cannon's is ok in my book, any hints on how to talk the missus round?

Perhaps I should just start with a cannon ball and see how it goes.....
