As you can see a very neat solution. The USB works great with it too, even in Vista.

So, I have enough to make 10 of these so I guess as im 'selling' these, to avoid any issues I should put a post in the New Items section. Anyone know which mod I need to ######## to be able to do that?

    Cheers

Stotty, thanks for doing the foot work mate, I resisted getting a printer, partly because I could not find the jack () and partly becuase I could not see the point, this however makes sense.

Deffo interested in teh USB version (just got a new craptop and most modern ones dont have serial...plays havoc at work as a lot of kit is...yes..you guessed it...serial)

    How much, and how

Am I right in thinking we need the airgun software rather than the chrony for the F-1?

Only it says beta and gamma versions for the later software, but does not mention vista on teh earlier version

    Hi Guys.

Ok I've put them up in the "New Items" sales section and reserved the following...

    sniper22
    SpikeG
    Adam77K
    Photosbykev
    guy
    remorfer
    Parabuteo

If your name is above please confirm with a PM.

Ive stuck as much as I can to the prices i put up but the USB adapters cost more than the ones I priced up, but are much nicer/neater and support Vista soooo.

Cable is £14, USB adapter is £3 and post is £2.89 Recorded in the UK.

    Cheers

    Looks good mate.

How do I know if my Vista is 32 bit...or does this mean it will run on 32 and 16 (?) bit??

Windows since Windows 95 has been 32 bit so its 99.9% sure you have 32bit.

You will only really have Vista 64bit if you deliberately asked for it.

The main problem with 64bit windows is making sure the drivers work for the USB-Serial interface and as I havent got 64bit I cant confirm that.

To be honest the program probably does work on 64bit too, i havent been able to test it though. Of course you will be able to download it and try for nothing anyway.

    Cheers

    Stot.

I've just realised I did a bit of initial testing on my main PC which runs 64bit Ubuntu (rather than 32 on the lappy) so it certainly runs under 64bit architecture (not that's any guarantee that 64 bit Vista wont eat eat of course, but in theory as you say it should be fine)
