    MAD Results Wed 8th JULY

Shooting the same course as sundays comp, in the woods, HFT doesn't get much better. Almost dark by 7pm and very little wind for a change, which surprised most of us into missing anyway. Due to the handicaps we had yet another shoot-off for first place, with Richard coming out on top this week.

    Richard Woods-----57---1--58
    Wayne Marriott----54---4--58
    Darren Lindsey-----56---2--58

    Ray Hampton------52---3--55
    Lloyd Davies-------49---6--55
    Cameron Casey----48---7--55
    Jenny Stone-------51---4--55
    Dave Lillywhite-----50---5--55
    Darren Quincey-----50---2--52

Cheers to Dan, Gareth and laity for the good company and help with spotting the targets in the dark, it was a real relaxed evening shoot.
It really summed up what hft is about as it wasnt all about scores but having a good time.
    See you all next wednesday.
Cheers Ian for the nice food as always.

Hi Darren. Straight back at you mate, and thanks for the tuition and tips. Will have a scope that can focus below 20 yards @ x8 mag next week then, so (hopefully) I'll then be able to actually see the mini kills rather than just a mushy blur .

Worth noting however, that even though I am bottom of the above list (with a truly tragic score ), I actually won the recoiling rifle class by default, as was the only entrant . Ha ha. Yep, thoroughly enjoyed this my first H-FT comp, may it be the first of many, and finally, a big-up thanks to all the guys at M.A.D. for making me so welcome . Atb: G.
