    Webley Omega

Hi all, lost my login details so had to reregister.
Anyway, a friend of mine passed away a few weeks back, his widow has asked me to check into a couple if items that she found omongst his bit's and pieces.
First a Webley Omega .22 with Kessnar X4 scope, good condition,
Second is a Webley Premier .22 pistol, again good condition and in the original box.
The intention was to find a price for her to sell but after seeing the guns I am thinking of making an offer myself.
    What do you think?
    Would £200 be fair?
    Thanks.
    Bob

I don't think you are far wrong and certainly not taking advantage. Not sure the value of the Premier but the Omega is worth £120 rough to £250 near mint.
A shop might offer her £60 total which isn't robbing her either. They are giving a service of moving something on that isn't wanted. These old guns take a bit of selling and use up expensive shop space.

I agree. Your offer sounds fair enough.

    Webley

    Been and done it.
    £200
The Premier is no' 812 and the Omega 798215.
After a clean, oil up and a few shots the condition of both must now be described as VGC.
A bit different to my PCP's.
    Cheers all.

If you give the Omega a basic moly and tar tune they are better for it; well it gets rid of that twang. Worth the effort and you will enjoy it more.
