Thanks in advance for ANY help.

    Bazwong.
I had a Goldstar in .22 and it was a very nice if unreliable gun.
Bought mine brand new in 2000 and had problems with the magazines
and the gun would fall apart in the field It was a bit shoddy and wondered if it was one of the last???? Anyway like a fool and in a moment of madness i sold it and dug out my old HW80 of the gun cabinet again.

The magazine wouldn't index properly, even after it was sent too BSA for repair it still wouldn't work properly, sometimes it would wizz past a few positions, apart from that it was a nice solid rifle.

Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

I found the mag to be unreliable too, although that was after much use. Exchanged it for a Superstar Mk1 which was fantastic.
