    Question 10 mtr comp ?

    Is it today comp starts can't find calendar on new ubc site yet,being a computer dummy (thank god hate to be a GEEK...mike...

    10m Competition starts today

    Sorry for the lack of warning and the late heads-up on this one, guys n gals.

    UBC 10m Competiton 18th - 25th July

    Rules

    Scores to be submitted to ubc10m.competition@googlemail.com

    By 2300hrs Sat 25th July

    Don't forget to include:


    • Type (Spring, SSP, CO2, PCP)
    • Gun
    • Calibre
    • Pellets used
    • Stance (1 or 2 handed)
    • BBS Username
    • Scores for each of the 2 targets, or one score if using ISSF

    Six sets of scores now submitted, with just over two days left to shoot the comp.

    Remember, scores must be in by 2300 on Saturday.

    Shot and submitted mine this evening

    I had to use a 1957 model Webley Junior, which I acquired for the Vintage Comps, as I have broken my lovely Anics A-9000 S

    I went to load a new CO2 cartridge this afternoon and, when I flipped the gas clip, gas blasted out all over the place .

    I took it apart and the back end of the valve assembly looked wrong. It turns out that the thread in the main valve body has given way under pressure.

    I will contact SMK on Monday about spares, they have been helpful in the past with parts for my QB78. I will also post a wanted add for spares on here.

    Does anyone know where else I might get parts for this great little pistol? I need it fixed this week really for the Police Pistol Comp. I might have to resort to some careful Aralditing

    Mike said he was off this weekend to celebrate his birthday, the scores will be delayed so you could be lucky.

    BTW has anyone else wondered why the UBC has 200 ish members and so few in the comps. C'mon, give it a try, it'll make you shoot better. (though sometimes that doesn't work for me.
