    Talking Webley Tracker Advise Please

Once again I find myself entering the Collectors Lounge (don't you ever Hoover in here)

I have an issue with my nice Webley Tracker d/l. It's not been used for many months so I took it to the workshop today to test across my nice new ProChrono. It's giving out about 4ft lb.

I've not taken it apart yet, I'm sure the spring is not broken, maybe too short or soft. Anyone know what the length of the spring should be?

If the spring is at fault is it worth fitting a B&C spring kit? Is the gain worth the extra expense over the standard spring?

I'm not a hunter or pro target shooter with this rifle, just a plinker (no, not plonker)

    Thank for looking,

    Good luck, Phil

    Thumbs up Webley Tracker Advice

    Webley Tracker De Lux...very nice!
Should be doing better than 4 fpe though.
A tune would be worth while. Not done one myself on a Tracker.
People with appropriate know-how will no doubt be along soon.
Good luck...and please keep us up-dated.

    Tracker

I used to have one of these, they should be doing at least 10 ft lbs, but I am not sure if you can still get them but you used to be able to get them a gas ram conversion, that would make it virtually maintainless for some time and would give you all the power you needed.
The armourer, with no where near as many guns as I used to have.
