    Can anyone let me have the Youtube link .....

    Can anyone let me have the Youtube link that showed a guy shooting Black Powder Rifle with a ladder sight at a silhouette (bison/buffalo) about 400 odd yards away ?

    I think he was a US champion ??


    Tried to find it for someone else & can't seem to

    Help appreciated !!

    It’s Dave Gullo (owner of Buffalo Arms) shooting past 1000yds I think. As you said about 400yds, I’m not sure if it’s the same link that you want. You may also enjoy Kenny Wasserburgher's 1 mile shoots. The links should be there in youtube.

    No - thats not the one - but wow - what a shot !

    The one I saw was on a bench - same set up - ladder sights way up & the gun angled about 30 degrees

    ....and your link will do niceley for my friend though - who thinks that BP guns can only shoot at around 100 yards !!

    Now just got to find some long range footage with percussion cap/front loaders !

    I have searched high & low for that video you mention but no luck.

    What about this video of a Gibbs being fired at Stickledown for your other search? Not very detailed though.

    Your friend needs to come to Bisley one of these days and he’ll really be surprised what 70grains of BP can do at 1000yds :

    I remember that a few weeks ago , it was a life size white buffalo , .50 cal BP rifle , I am sure it was more like 900 yards , tried looking for it on you tube , no luck . Dave
