" Best Pistol Ever " In Its day !

Hi, I was looking at a similiar thread on collectible airguns, !
For me, Its this, Shown here with a Bulk fill adapter & a HP air connector. It is of course a Crossman 600 ( This one is 41 years old ) And in my opinion the most fun you can have with your clothes on, !
    Pic-http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...Picture154.jpg
It shoots 10 shots as fast as you can pull the trigger in .22.
In the USA they run them at 1500 Psi & 20 Fpe, With a 24 inch barrel,
BUT thats not the beauty of it, Its the Semi-Auto blowback action of 40 years ago ! I am sure, Anyone who has one will agree.

Second is this Pic- Original Mod 10, A recoiless springer, As good as it gets,
And yet ! The 600 still has it?
    Pic-http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m...cture005-1.jpg
This is another 25 year old design & at the top of the tree. ( In its day )
I am selling ALL my guns, but this is not a sales pitch, At least not until prices pick up. YES another Jack Daniels , Ha ha, Cheers, ged

That's where we're going wrong then.

Back on thread, I've not used any old pistols. The only 'mature' one I have is an LP53 that's real nice to shoot.

    Good luck, Phil

I have not owned a 600 yet, but i plan to - when i can afford it. My finances are recovering after getting hold of one very rare little number - a Harper Classic Wolf, i have spent more time loading the mag than i care to recall but i don't think i have had more enjoyment out of any other pistol i have had.

    Re 600

    Hi Ged,

How many shots from a 1500 psi fill...?What psi does the standard Co2 capsules generate..? Obviously they weren't designed to be run on compressed air I know.....but i'm interested

Does anyone know of one being given the .25 treatment.......
