That's okay, stopped it just in the nick of time me thinks . You can place an advert for it here, in the collectables section, as well as in the main for sale section, too, if you wish, just not attached to this thread . Atb: G.

Not 100% decided on what to do with it yet tbh...

It's in great condition for its age, but I really do want to get down to my local club & do some HFT... so the temptation is there to modify it with tuning, stock etc... however i think it may be wise to keep it original & just buy something like an s400 that is ready to go straight out of the box.

so does that make it a slightly later 85? from what I can gather I think the early ones like mine had no chequering & raised scope rail which then changed over on the later models...

interesting stuff... I do remember when I ordered it from the Sportsman as a 16yr old in oh...1989 or something & then went in to pick it up being a tad disappointed that it was the plain stock with no chequering, cap or cheek piece. I always wanted to get a venom walnut stock & silencer for it.

Hoorah! . Best decision you've made all year and you won't regret it -- now ad to it however, with a nice HW80 and an HW90 to sit in the rack either side of it, as the nucleus of an embryonic HW collection . Ha ha. Atb: G.
