    Burnham - Thank You

Just a quick note to say thanks to all of those who attended the Burnham Anniversary shoot 2004 - we hope you had a good day out.

Luckily the weather held good and I am sorry I did not get around to visiting the courses and taking some pictures of you ugly lot for the BBS. We will have to wait to next year.

We try and make the courses interesting and like to stretch your marksmanship a bit at what is a great venue.

The advantage is that it is not regularly shot so everyone is on a bit of a level playing field as the wind is not known and the lanes are "virgin" so shooters cannot call upon previous knowledge. Care is required threading the shot through the foliage to the target.

I had to go unexpectedly due to illness in my family, but I would
also like to send a big thank you to all of the Burnham club who banded together and got the course ready. They were few in number but I hope you agree that they did a great job.

Shame it is not the easiest to find and we will have a map sorted and Sat Nav coordinates ready for next year if we shoot there again in 2005.

    Thanks again,

    Simon

Thanks to Burnham for setting it up. Those white signs were a godsend - god knows where I would have ended up without them.

    Cheers,
    Simon.

Agreed, the signs were extremely helpful. I really enjoyed the HFT course despite some of the lanes being complete bar stewards and shot better than I have for some time. Simon (Steyr), is there any chance of the full results being made available somewhere?

Good Idea. A list of the final standings would be appreciated.

Thanks for your responses gents - and glad you enjoyed it even though they were difficult courses.

I did say in the details it would be challenging - but it seems some people didnt take note and were unhappy we didn't use "Agent Orange" to clear routes to the targets Eh CADAVIS on Airgun Forum !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will be happy to post the results as soon as they are thrust into my hands.

Good shooting and see you in the winter leagues and FT's.
