If it's an old one the serial number is in front of the trigger guard

Also....If it is a mk1......the barrel will be one piece, heavy and tapered, ie. 2 piece action......the rearsight will be a block, with an elevating wheel similar to prewar types or cadet majors, and the tap will pop up when cocking....If a mk2, the barrel will have a angled, scalloped joint just in front of the loading tap, ie..3 piece action.....and the rearsight should be a folding type....

Looking at the barrel just forward of the tap, looks like a Mk2 to me but with a Mk1 rear sight body fitted to the dovetail.

I await correction by others more knowledgable than I.

That is an Airsporter MkII (1959 -- 1968) that has had a MkI rear sight fitted (which is not intact any more going by the photos) and in that condition, regardless of calibre, imho, the best it could achieve in the real world, would be £45 plus a bit of post tops . Hope this helps. Atb: G.

That would be more than fair, as £45 plus a bit of post imo would be iro £50/£55 posted insured . Careful of the grey area anytakers comment however, as this must not become a sales thread (please see the stickies ). Atb: G.
