    Thumbs up Daystate service

As above, their service is exemplary and the other vendors need to take a leaf out of their book.

I've had more than my rifles serviced there, for example they've made up specials etc and all the correspondence as well as work was top notch.

I have also mulled over the idea of sending my X2 for service. I think I must be the third owner, so I have no idea what might have gone before.

It certainly shoots OK but sometimes I think the cocking action could do with smoothing out. I have seen instructions on how to do that, and I am tempted to go for it, but perhaps a full service would address other matters as well.

Any idea what sort of costs are involved?

I am thinking of sending my stepson's X2 for a full service, anyone know approx how much they charge.

The only people to ask are---you guessed it----Daystate! Their reputation is second to none for looking after their rifles so they won't be unreasonable whatever needs to be done.

Got a e mail from Daystate today, they quoted £120 plus postage for a full service on a X2.
