Smile Happy Birthday Mr Jones (our I. J.).

Hi there I. J., happy birthday you fine fellow and thanks (I think), for getting me hooked on collecting ... The wife still wants to have a word with you about that however ... She would drive up to Bolton and confront you, but I sold her car to by my Lincoln Jefferies Light Pattern and in-coming Webley Patriot . Ha ha. Have a good one mate, and sink a few Newcastle Brown ales in celebration. I will in turn be toasting you from this end with a rather fine single malt .

    Atvb: Gareth.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

Not quite belated -- we've got 23 mins to go ... For he's a jolly good fellow, for he's a jolly good fe-elow. For he's a jolly good fe-ellow, and so say all the collectors corner regulars and Rivington Riflemen et al .

This places me in a very difficult position. I've already posted this year's birthday greetings on the other thread, and I used up my entire allowance of wishing you a happy birthday from last year, so there's none of that left to carry forward without incurring a penalty.

What I can do is bring forward a proportion of next year's birthday greetings, and offset that against my unused allowance (100%) for saying nice things about you from last year. Taking into account transitional relief and inflation, that may leave enough letters for a brief birthday greetings in the next birthday greeting year.

    So, Cloggy - Happ
