    Airsporter date

I checked Hillers book and knew it was 48-54 but was wondering if someone could get it closer.
Yes--tapered barrel and none folding rearsight.Bakelite plug in hole where rear stock bolt goes, although its a bit tatty.
Stripped yesterday and trigger block unscrewed easily (1st one Ive had like that) and there wasnt even a mark in the hole that usually shows signs of bars and screwdrivers being used. Piston washer in good nick as well so it was just a clean and lube plus a slightly better mainspring than the one that was in it. I gave the cylinder a quick, rough bluing. It doesnt look brilliant but does blend in very well with the age and condition of the gun----If you know what I mean? Lovely to shoot.
