    BSA Panther scope for auction.

    Hi guys

Yesterday, I won a brand new BSA Panther 6.5-20x44 AO scope in the Rivington charity shoot raffle. As all proceeds from yesterdays event are going to a very good cause, Derian House childrens hospice, I have decided to auction the scope off and donate whatever money is raised to Derian House.

I will throw in a set of 25m.m. high mounts. The scope is currently on Uttings web site for £119.95 but has a R.R.P. of £159.95.

I think the first bid should come in at somewhere around the £25 mark to get us going.

Please remember where the money is going when you make a bid.

Just put your bid on this thread, the highest bid at 20:00 on Sunday 16th August 2009 will win the scope. I would like to share the cost of post and packing with the successful bidder.

Many thanks guys, please be generous.

    Mike.

After watching my Dad being slowly eaten alive by cancer, I fully appreciate the quality of care given to him in his last few weeks at our local hospice.

That is the main reason why I have offered this scope for auction, as if I really needed a reason.

The hospices are run on charitable donations and need all the money they can get to give the terminally ill some dignity and comfort when they most need it.

Thank you everyone who has looked at this post, but a much bigger thank you to those who have bid on this scope. You have my respect!

    Mike.
