There is some info on price
I don't know how to put the link up but some one will
A club member who owns a number of splendid Ripley pre-charged rifles has decided to sell one of them and has no idea of its value
It is the Ripley Predator repeater model in .22 cal
I believe it has a pump action for loading the pellet and shoots 12 shots from its magazine
It has just had a £150 service by the designer/maker and is in mint condition having only been admired for its splendid woodwork rather than used
He tells me only 12 were made so it is obviously a rare beast
Has anyone seen one sold recently who can give an idea of its value
Thanks
John

Looks like around £600 could be on the cards then: here is the link: http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=283058 .

Thanks Mark and Wild dogman
The gentleman who owns the rifle inherited it from a friend who collected only Ripleys.
However he is getting on a bit (75ish) and the Predator is a very heavy gun so he is hoping that if he sells it then his wife will agree to let him buy yet other PCP to play with.
He returns from holiday in 10 days time and I will refer him to this post.
He was a member on here but forgot his password and is struggling to re-register as computers are not his strong point. But it looks like the Predator is quite valuable and should fund at least a nice AA400 and scope.
Thanks again
John

to be honest I wouldnt sell it for £600, but I think that is probably the going rate... It's a bit of shame in these times to be selling it... a Couple of years ago, it may have made more... the calibre doesn't help either
AFIAK All but one predators were .22 that Joe (Steve Wilkins dad) made and there are about 20.
I think Nick Jenkinson had the one .177
